In the first meeting of this year we had as purpose to establish together with the teenagers new targets for the new come year that stood in front of us and to follow them throughout the entire year.
            For January we plan to perform further social surveys which were not complete until then. During this period adolescents in the eighth grade through our volunteers were tutored in math and Romanian Language and Literature.
            During the school vacation in February that last a week we offered daily pleasant activities for leisure time constructively. Thus we have conducted various educational-recreational activities: meetings, games, watching movies followed by discussion.
            In February we celebrate friendship. During this meeting all the teenagers played games, we had special activities and talks about friendship and what does it mean to be a friend, who are they’re real friends, how to regain the lost friends or what kind of friends they have to choose to quit, being encouraged to exploit this stage of their lives in order to form an integral character and to be surrounded with positive model people.
            Following collaboration with “The Traian Darjan School” in March we attended a meeting organized by the County Inspectorate of Cluj-Napoca at this school. We  discussed how the NGO’s that have a collaboration with this school could help the needs of  “The Traian Darjan School” students.
            At the 8th of March we organized to all our girls a special meeting in which we had cake and we had “beauty treatments”, gifts, we talked and we watched an animated film. We also organized a pajama party with the girls at the foundation, we prepared snacks together, we talked and we watched a movie.
            During this time we booked the location for this year's summer camp, a camp in which the beneficiaries of The Day Center for Teenagers will enjoy for a period of a week some time in nature, an event that the teenagers are waiting anxiously all year .
            We also visited this month The Botanical Garden in Cluj Napoca, a suitable opportunity to enjoy the first signs of the coming spring.
            Also at The Day Center we have met with the teens and their parents to read and sign the contracts to provide social services. Signing these contracts between NGO’s and the persons assisted is still a legal requirement.
