The first group meeting that we had this year with our teenagers we challenged them to make a personal evaluation of their lives and to set goals for the New Year. Then we discovered together the goals that God had for us.

At the beginning of this year, we wanted to show the teenagers how to help others in need. With some of them we visited the sick children and teenagers there were hospitalized at the Oncology Hospital in Cluj. There we offered presents form the Herald Charity, but also fruits and sweets from our teenagers.

In January we also planned meetings with the teenagers and their parents to present and sign social assistance conventions. At present, it is a legal requirement to have this kind of convention between any ONG and the beneficiaries.

During the one week holiday in February we planned recreational and educative meetings each day: we watched and talked about movies, we played all kind of games, we went out, and we had a pyjama’s party with the girls, when we prepared the dinner, we watched a movie and we talked about the boy-girl relationships at their young age.

Another special meeting in February was the Friendship Celebration. During this meeting we played a lot of games, we had special activities, we talked about love and friendship and we encouraged our teenagers to use this time in their lives to built a good character and to be around people who could represent good examples for them.

For the 8th of March celebration we had a special meeting for the girls on the topic of real beauty. We talked about the real beauty that comes from inside. Being humble brings beauty, even if humility is not popular. A healthy self esteem brings beauty also. And knowing God personally brings beauty, because when you know that he loves and accepts you, you could also value yourself and have a good self esteem.
