Teenagers News: April

During this period we continued with our usual activities, tutoring, group and individual meetings, we went for our monthly shopping for the teenagers groups , we took in every day of Monday, every week, from one of our sponsors, bread and cakes for the teenagers meetings, we organized for them recreational activities to strengthen their self esteem, their relationship with God and with the others.

We watched movies together , we played society games, we’ve done crafts activities, and we celebrated Easter and the 1st of June (which is The Children’s Day) together.

We have also organized various activities outside the Day Center with the teens: we went out in the park, we were to a concert in which one of our teenage-girl has played, the concert was held at an evangelical church and the students from a Christian high school in Cluj attended, we had lunch at Mc Donald's.

Also during these months, we organized for the teens that we assist a program of sexual education with the purpose to prevent harmful sexual behaviors in the life of our adolescents. We also discussed with our teens that are in the VIII and XII grade about their future careers that will follow, the scope of the discussions was for them to reach the self-knowledge and the personal development purposes, so that they could manage the information they have and learned, and to plan their career.
We met with the Day Center volunteers at we discuss and evaluate the situation of the tutored adolescents and we have had several meetings with some parents of the teenagers and we also met a former beneficiary of Day Center and talked about the changes that have occurred in her life since she had not receive our support.

Due to the generosity and kindness of our sponsors since June we benefit from new computers, camera, laptop and a new video projector with which our work and its quality are much better.
