During 2009 we had assisted a total of 10 single parent families . The program for single parent families in 2009 was held on two fronts:
                1. group therapy once a month, with topics chosen by beneficiaries, and also financial and material aid
                2. the project ”a house to raise my child „

I. Information about the assistance offered:

- Group Therapy
At the meetings, we attend generally about 10 mothers. The group meetings are held monthly on the last Friday of every month. Among the topics discussed, "friendship and how we choose our friends," Forgiveness - from depression to healing "  were their favourite themes and the one with the most impact on these families tried so hard. During the group meetings, mothers with older children learn interactively how to practice the moral principles in everyday life, how to rediscover the confidence and the community, the joy and the beauty of life even in the midst of the shortcomings that fight.
The topics we discussed have a major impact on women's lives and their testimonies have concluded that the issues debated changed their way of thinking and of relating to life and its circumstances, as a matter of fact follow.

- Recreational activities for children in single parent families
During group therapy it takes place the  recreational time for children in single parent families. Generally, at these meetings we attended by around 10 mothers and their children aged between 3 and 18 years. For the smallest of them,  F.C. Herald in collaboration with Brickenburg Association (and the courtesy of SC VarunaS) prepared a program of skill development and creativity in LEGO games, the program captured 100% the attention and the joy of the children.

- Individual counseling, emotional and social support
The individual and social counseling aims to help the mothers to face their problems, to seek emotional healing, to improve self-esteem and to improve the  quality of their lifes.

- Intermediaries
If it’s necessary,we intermediate to resolve problems that arise in the single-parent families (eg, to the dentist, doctor, at school)

- The "house to raise my child"
This year we signed for a partnership between the Charity Foundation Herald and Habitat for Humanity, to build houses for the single parents assisted by the Charity Foundation Herald . The terms of this partnership are the following: we must have the land and the money needed for the homes.
We received as a donation the field we need to build the houses with all utilities.We signed a preliminary contract with the single mothers in order to build houses for their families.

- Material and financial support
The assisted single parents families have received several donations consisting clothing, personal hygiene items and household appliances, food packages, or money based on their needs and problems in families of origin. Also, on several occasions, the assisted mothers received gifts.

II. Information about the program management:

In the program for single parent families are involved: social assistant Andreea social Tomsa, coordinator of the Centre, Goiti Rimona, foundation director and a team of five volunteers.
The project management consisted activities with administrative nature and training activities:
monthly shopping for sweets and juice for the group meetings and individual meetings
preparation for therapeutic groups, individual counseling, recruiting volunteers and volunteer monitoring, development schedules, documents, reports for mayor and sponsors, manage the site preparation of accounting documents (reception notes, deeds of donations etc.) the application of social survey of the work plan 2009-2010
Closing contracts for partnerships with the Association Brickenburg officials and with Habitat for Humanity Foundation and other institutions
File preparation for accreditation, file preparation to obtain subsidies from the Local Council.

III. Financial expenses in the project during 2009

The total monthly expense for 2009 was attended by 458 RON. This assumes expense of free social services, cash donations and products and providing office infrastructure (administration).
