“A home where to raise my child” comes to the aid of six single mothers, together with the 9 children abandoned or orphaned by the father, by building social housing in Apahida , New Street FN.

News October - December 2011

During October - December 2011 we continued the assistance of mothers and their children. In general the last months of the year are very busy for all of us and this is also true for assisted mothers.

News July - September 2011

The month of July began with the meeting we have each month to mothers in the support group. This month the topic discussed was communication with the child.

News April - June 2011

An endless battle…this is maybe what best defines the lives of the mothers we assist. A battle for facing material and financial difficulties, tiredness and emotional needs both of them and of their children.

Since January 2011 we worked on planning activities for this year. This year the work at the Counseling And Support Center for Single Mothers will take place on three fronts:

News October - December 2010

During these three months the work at Counseling And Support Center for Single Mothers was intense.
In early October we enjoyed because our sponsors from Scotland visited us and togheter with Herlad team were visiting some mothers from the program.

News July - September 2010

During this period we had the meetings for therapy group on the each last Friday with mothers and their children. On these meetings we try to provide a climate where mothers feel accepted, understood and helped, a climate in which they can share their problems and receive advice.

News April - June 2010

We had the meetings for therapy group on the each last Friday with mothers and their children. On this occasion they had the opportunity to relate with the other mothers and volunteers, to learn new things like: how to establish priorities for daily life, to manage the home finances and so on.

At the beginning of January, we’ve planned the activities for the entire year 2010. During the first quarter of this year within the Counseling Center for Mothers, we had the following activities:

News October - December 2009

In October the mother were taken to a church meeting in one of the Baptist Churches in Cluj. One of our volunteers, Camelia had invited them to this meeting. There was a testimony of her son who had to have his baptism the next Sunday. It was a interesting experience for them.

News August - September 2009

Each last Friday from each month we have a group meeting with the mothers. Here are some of their testimonies about these monthly meetings: they inspire us, encourage us, strengthen us and fulfill us with power for the new month before us.

News July 2009

Each last Friday from each month we have meetings with the ladyes. On 31 of July 2009 we had the meeting with the Faith subject. It is joyfull to see such a great impact in their daily life. Faith determin our life stile and have a major impact in our lifes.

News April - June 2009

Monthly meetings with our beneficiaries kept on through this period and their impact upon those ladies' lives are amazing, as we mentioned previously. The counseling is changing their perspective and attitude toward life, helping them to assume a healthy behavior toward family and society.

The single parents program goes on throughout this entire year on 2 levels :
1. therapy group once a month, discussing topics that are chosen together with the beneficiaries, as well as material-financial aid
2. the project "A house where to raise my child".

News December 2008

In September-December, here, at CSCSM, different kinds of activities were performed. For instance : group meetings with the beneficiaries in order to participate to a seminar entitled "The key of a good relationship".

News November 2008

7th-9th of November 2008 ...those days gave birth to wonderful memories for the mothers we assist and their children. We spent some beautiful moments together at the lodge in Rusesti. For several mothers the lodge was already a familiar place, where they loved to come back.

News July 2008

During 11-13 July 2008 we spent three beautiful days at Poiana Horii together with the mothers we work with, with their children and with our volunteers. The landscape made us feel like living fairy tale's moments and the fine weather invited us to relaxation, joy and playing.

During this month, the families were helped financially and each received a parcel containing food from the Council of Cluj County.
