At the beginning of January, we’ve planned the activities for the entire year 2010. During the first quarter of this year within the Counseling Center for Mothers, we had the following activities:
 
We’ve done all the social inquiries and contracts for 7 mothers, 6 of them will be beneficiaries of the project THE HOUSE IN WHICH TO GROW UP MY CHILD. Another three mothers are going to be taken soon in our evidence and we will look after them (we offer them social care) throughout the entire year 2010.
 
Therefore, six single mothers will receive social care and are included in the project THE HOUSE IN WHICH TO GROW UP MY CHILD, while another 4 mothers just social care.
During this period, we have searched for volunteers and we’ve signed the contract with them. The single mothers were helped with money and food parcels aids. In addition, we have offered them dental care inter mediating for them to the dentist and paying for them.
 
We have had the therapy groups with the subject: Financial Management. This subject is going to be discussed during the next few meetings. We have discussed practical methods to administrate financial resources of the family and we have brought the perspective of God in all this matter, that we should not own anything to anybody without love!
This is a hard subject for them considering that their salary is 100 pounds a month, this money are just enough for the monthly rent for their accommodation. To work more is not possible because they have to care for their children. Their daily dramas pour out tears of our eyes but we encourage them by bringing up news from the project we are working on: THE HOUSE IN WHICH TO GROW UP MY CHILD. In the therapy group, we rejoice looking to their children playing LEGO with Brickenburg Volunteers.
 
We continued to work on the new and courageous project we have:  THE HOUSE IN WHICH TO GROW UP MY CHILD. We gathered the board and the volunteers of this project, we established the strategy and the info needed, we contracted the business for the made of movies and the site, we’ve done the movies, the translations, subtitles and we’ve planned the fund raising activities to raise funds for this new project. One of the activities planned for this project already took place and it was a jazz concert in the 13Th day of March with Teodora Enache where we gathered 800 pounds. This money will be used for the project: THE HOUSE IN WHICH TO GROW UP MY CHILD.
 
We had also an evaluation of our services and as a feedback, we were pleased to see that the mothers are pleased with our work and they said that all we offer them are useful and encouraging.
Counseling was another service offered to the mothers. We give Christian professional advice according with the request of mother. We always in all matters and in all we do we bring God’s perspective in all discussions and in all we do.
 
In 8Th of March we celebrate together the Mother’s Day, we watched together a movie, Maria Magdalena, we had discussions a long side movie, we discussed the daily worries, we eat, we laugh, we cried together! These women need help, care and emotional support, somebody to celebrate them, to tell them: Happy birthday!
