Elderly News April

During this period were assisted eight people aged between 62 and 88 years.
Due to age and illness, their condition degrades with each passing day; the pain and suffering and are at home. Besides the lack of health, other shortcomings add even more burden to these souls. Two of them are immobilized in the house being dependent the aid of others. In these conditions our services and activities are a real help and it also offers emotional support.

Home visits - have brought much joy and whenever they opened the door, we saw their faces with a child’s joy!

Easter Celebration
The celebration brought joy to our beneficiaries’ hearts, by our presence and by receiving gifts, cakes, cookies, fruit, etc. They have not been forgotten by others and they were surrounded with love, so they understood the true meaning of Easter celebration. This fact has created a sense of security, peace and contentment.

Monthly shopping at Carrefour - our beneficiaries are exempt from the monthly physical and financial effort; we provide the basic food supplies for that month.

Food supplies home distribution
As I have stated above, our old ladies have major health problems and their movement is demanding and sometimes painful. The fact that these foods supplies come on their table without them being involved in any way brings satisfaction and tears of joy in their eyes.

Mrs. Palfi Elisabeta- is immobilized for years at home and only faith in God helps her loneliness.

Hospital visits
In April, Mrs. Melinda Ilies was hospitalized. Through our visits, she was encouraged, comforted and received food, fruit, sweets, flowers and other urgent things.
